Scope of Practice

Whitebridge Centre for Youth Mental Health provides structured mental health literacy education, emotional regulation training and development focused youth programmes.

Our work supports young people experiencing anxiety, low mood, school related stress, transition challenges and reduced confidence where clinical treatment is not required.

We do not provide psychotherapy, counselling, clinical diagnosis or medical treatment.

Where a young person presents with moderate to severe depression, active self harm, suicidal ideation or complex trauma related symptoms, we will advise referral to a GP or appropriate specialist mental health services.

All programmes are delivered with clear safeguarding standards, parental consent and defined review points.
